HORACE BROWN

Motown Records artist Horace Brown had a string of hits in the 1990s with quality RNB for the dancefloor.

Discovered by the legendary Jodeci producer and singer DeVante Swing, Horace was signed by Uptown Record’s Founder and CEO, Andre Harrell, who with help of PDiddy also looked after Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Heavy D, Father MC and Christopher Williams.

Despite growing up in the church as the son of a Baptist minister, his trademark was the risqué element to some of his lyrics and ideas. In fact his debut single Taste Your Love was banned in some southern bible states of America due to its sexual connotations
